We were 102'08, and now we're 202'09.

And we're always uniquely located. Initially the "terrifying pond" and now, the rifle range. No excuse not to find us. Amanda Hoo/ Chinese Dance

Hi 202,
So Term1 has just ended, and I think it is only appropriate to end the term officially with a post.
It has been (365+10 x 7)days since i join the 102'08 and 202'09 family. and how time indeed flies.

I can still remember how much more comfortable Xinmin classroom chairs are, compared to my primary school's.

I can still remember the first day of school (2nd Jan 2008) when Ms yap and Mr chin passed around the small red bucket of water + a piece of rag and asked us to wipe our tables.

I can still remember how we introduce ourselves at the beginning when Mr chin asked us to.. how we were so shy that we pushed the chair with the joints of our knees and MUTTERED(!?!?) to ourselves, rather than doing the proper introduction. How shy we were, indeed!

I can still remember Li Ya and Tsui Yan entering our class with their bags and Ms yap asked them whether we needed to go to the hall or not, and if yes, which route (to prevent congestion).

I can still remember cheering for 202 in the campfire performance during orientation.

I can still remember 102 selling fishballs in our house tees.

I can still remember Mr Chin taking photos of Siwei in her SIA stewardess kebaya.

I can still remember reading the orientation day programme list

I can still remember mixing up Alvin with Calvin.

I can still remember Ms Yap saying in 3 languages: hokkien, english and chinese on the 1st Math test," if you know, means you know. if you dont know, means you dont know. no point copying", which Ms Ng later said as well.

I can still remember Mrs Winnie Thang told us that when we sweat for the community, it will feel good.

I can still remember Pei Yan asking me who Joo Tai is.

I can still remember being so shy about sitting in a circle in the classroom with other people. boys with boys; girls with girls. ( how weird it is now)

I can still remember sitting with Yuchi in the sports hall while Mdm Liew talked about sec 1s leading the more senior ones.

I can still remember Isaiah saying 'boys here!', 'girls here!' when separating us to girls' and boys' brigade rooms, during cca orientation.

I can still remember Ms Yap's talk on life goes on.

I can still remember Shawn Hoo telling me how he yearns for March hols.

And i am remembering how Cherie lost her one-day-old pen; how we have and are going to stick as a class, as one class......
